All Stars Program is a research and school-based prevention program that matches the social and cognitive development of middle school students. UX, the newest initiative of the All Stars Project, is a school of continuing development. It's free, open to people of all ages and educational backgrounds, has no grades and uses New York City as its campus. UCC: All- Stars. All- Stars is an evidence- based program of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration of the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services. UCC adopted the program in 2. In 2. 00. 9 All- Stars expanded to also serve the high school population as they develop a path to college. Students set personal goals and learn decision- making and stress management skills as well as strategies for resisting peer pressure. All-Stars is an evidence-based program of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Our philosophy at STARS is that life is hard enough for young people, so those who meet the criteria for admission to this program are in special need of opportunities for success. All Stars Programs : All Stars programs reach youth during the years of greatest vulnerability to experimenting with substances, fighting, bullying, and initiating sexual activity. The program culminates in a graduation ceremony in which students, in front of peers and prominent community members, commit to a goal- oriented lifestyle and avoidance of high- risk behaviors. Weekly throughout the school year. Open to middle school and high school students.
